Unallocated Space Unallocated space is the portion of a storage device where an operating system has not assigned files. The space may be "blank" (e.g., on a new drive) or might contain data from the last file stored in a particulat sector.
User ID A User ID is quite simply a unique identifier. They are normally used to differentiate users from each other on a network.
